The Fender Custom Shop introduces a Team-built limited run of 100 of these stunning 1963 Telecaster Custom Relic LTD guitars.
The instrument has been given our “Relic” treatment to show years of natural wear and tear—nicks, scratches, worn finish, rusty hardware and aged plastic parts.
The two-piece select alder body has a black nitrocellulose lacquer finish with white binding on the top and back, and three-ply parchment pickguard. The C-shaped maple neck has a 9.5”-radius, Indian rosewood round laminate fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets and wide-spaced white dot inlays. Other features include a pair of vintage ’63 Tele single-coil pickups with three-way switching, nickel/chrome hardware, Fender/Gotoh® vintage-style tuning machines, a vintage-style Telecaster bridge with three threaded steel saddles and “ashtray” cover, and a Fender Custom Shop limited edition decal.
‘50s Esquire®

The Esquire is among the most sought-after instruments in our entire family of Telecaster guitars. Introduced in 1950, its unique circuitry and biting bridge pickup created a tonal sensation. It later became the weapon of choice for greats including Jeff Beck and Bruce Springsteen, and has re-emerged time and again in the hands of many other great players.
Our ’50s Esquire features an ash body, a C-shaped maple neck, a vintage-style three-saddle string-through-body Telecaster bridge, and a vintage-style single-coil Telecaster pickup with custom-wired three-way switching.
Basically, three-way switching on a single-pickup guitar gives you three preset tones. In the bridge position, the pickup is connected only to the volume control (the tone control is disconnected); this minimal circuitry produces more top-end sparkle than is possible with a Telecaster. In the middle position, the standard tone control circuit is activated. In the neck position, the tone control is again disengaged, but a tone-shaping capacitor rolls off much of the top end and some bottom, producing a darker tone and slight volume loss.

With a carefully crafted neck designed to be the most comfortable piece of maple and rosewood you’ve ever wrapped your hands around, the Floyd Rose DST-2 will quickly exceed your expectations.
All Floyd Rose pickups are made from materials selected for their high performance and superior tonal characteristics. The 2 humbuckers loaded in the DST-2 give you tons of versatility while delivering tasty sounds craved by players everywhere.
The SpeedLoader Tremolo offers all the versatility of the original Floyd Rose Tremolo with the ease and performance of the SpeedLoader System. You can still execute the most subtle tremolo or wildest dive-bombing effects and return to perfect tuning every time. It also features the TremStopper, which enables the player to block the tremolo system with a simple turn of a screw, converting the tremolo instantly to a hardtail bridge setup.
The Discovery Series Electric Guitar’s SpeedLoader System eliminates the need for the use of Allen wrenches and wire cutters to change strings. The specially designed, dual bullet-end strings only take seconds to slip into the bridge and nut receptacles, and you don’t have to worry about going out of tune.

Fender Custom Shop designers met Donal Gallagher, brother of the late, great Rory Gallagher, in 1997 at Los Angeles International Airport and received a gig bag holding one of the most coveted guitars of all time—Rory’s worn-to-the-wood 1961 Stratocaster guitar. Fender initially built 40 “clones” for the European market, and was subsequently besieged with requests for more.
The Rory Gallagher Tribute Stratocaster guitar is an exact replica of that revered instrument, right down to the extremely worn 3-Color Sunburst alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. We’ve even included five Sperzel tuners and one Gotoh tuner, and we’ve replaced the 12th-fret dot marker with white plastic instead of the original clay. It also features three custom-wound ’60s single-coil pickups, aged chrome hardware, 21 jumbo frets and a bone nut. Our homage to a true and truly missed master.
The Fender Custom Shop announces a limited-edition run of 200 of these gorgeous 1967 Telecaster Firemist Silver Metallic Closet Clasic LTD guitars.
This Team-built guitar features the “Closet Classic” treatment—built as if it was bought new in its respective model year, played maybe a few times per year and then carefully put away. It has a few small dings, a mildly checked finish, lightly oxidized hardware and aged plastic parts. The two-piece premium ash body has a silvery nitrocellulose lacquer finish and a three-ply parchment pickguard. The C-shaped maple neck has a 9.5”-radius round-laminate Madagascar rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets (with narrow-spaced mother of pearl dot inlays), a wing string tree and Fender Custom Shop limited edition decal.
Other features include a pair of vintage ’63 Telecaster single-coil pickups with three-way switching, nickel/chrome hardware, Fender®/Schaller® vintage “F”-style tuning machines, and a vintage-style Telecaster bridge with three threaded steel saddles and “ashtray” cover.
